Gift Of Music
If you have a gift of music, whether singing or playing an instrument, remember this:
Having a gift of music from God does NOT necessarily mean being able to walk into a recording studio and sell a million records.
Having a gift means being able to follow that drive within you to play or sing, and having it impact someone else in a positive representation of who the Lord is and what He can do in our lives when we let Him in, with the hope that this musical experience can bring one a step closer to accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
It does not matter how well you sing or play, or how modest you sing or play, If you're not using it, the enemy will ensure you're losing it.
I never try to persuade people away from their home church, but I must frankly tell you, If you're not able to stir up the gift of God that is within you,where you are, it WILL become stagnant. If you need to build up self esteem or be encouraged, you might consider visiting another church and using your talent on strangers. Performing at a birthday, wedding, anniversary or event. You may also consider joining one of our crusades, traveling on one of our tours, or serving or sharing in one of our locations, revivals or outreaches.
Quite simply, you must use those gifts!
