Ambassadors For Christ! Wow, what an honor... The United States has an ambassador to every civilized country in the world. These people have such honor. They are ultimately responsible for brokering a relationship between The U.S and the country they represent. But we are ambassadors, not for just a country or a president, but we are ambassadors for JESUS CHRIST!!!
We don't let this go to our heads. We don't have a "holier than thou" attitude. We are quite humbled to have been chosen to represent our Saviour to such an important person: YOU!!
Wait it gets better... We are not called to point our fingers at you, or judge you. Our job is to help you be reconciled to God. That's right God wants to make up with you, and He's asked us to help. Take a look at II Corinthians 5:17-20
17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19. To wit, that God wa in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath commited unto us the word of reconciliation.
20. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
